In honor of National puzzle month, we are pleased to feature our dear friend and vendor Phil Stagg of Phil Stagg Photography (and so much more) :). Phils work is NOT new to Tip’n the Mitten, in fact, Phil’s work has been in our store for a number of years. The best part about Phil though is that his work is far from stagnant, much like his subjects! His first products in our store were his waterfall books. A series of now 5 books featuring virtually every waterfall in this stunning state, these books have long been a top seller. A couple years ago, Phil began adding to his treasures and now offers not just his books but pins, buttons, zipper pulls, magnets, post cards, calendars, key chains and our feature for the month, PUZZLES and lots of them!
Phil is out of Cadillac and has long has a passion for photography. Here is a bit more about him from his website:
Phil has been aggressively documenting Michigan’s waterfalls since 2009. He has a passion for photography and waterfalls. This started him on his quest to create a set of guidebooks with wonderful pictures as well as detailed maps and data about the many waterfalls that Michigan has to offer.
Phil is married and has five sons and four grandchildren. He is the president of Stagg Machine Products, Inc., a full service CNC and screw machine production shop. He is also active at Temple Hill Baptist Church in Cadillac. He enjoys golf, volleyball and kayaking. And once in a while you may find him with a camera in hand!
A wonderful guy with an extraordinary eye for the beautiful, we are excited to be able to offer people access to his high-quality products. His puzzle line has expanded greatly now offering two puzzle sizes including 500 and 1000 with images from around the state in spring, summer, fall and winter.
Choose from Tahquamenon Falls, the Mighty Mac, the Grand Hotel, Morels, Canyon Falls, Quincy Mine, the Capitol and many many more!!
Puzzles are great any time of the year and always a fun thing to do with your family! Stop in to Tip’n the Mitten and pick up a puzzle today!
