It’s that time again! Time to take a closer look at one of our dozens of amazing Michigan vendors. This week, we would like to take the time to introduce you to one of our newest artists. His designs are unique, often colorful and definitely pure Michigan! Meet Rick Cheadle of Rick Cheadle Designs, our feature vendor of the week!
From his website:
“I’m a self taught mixed media artist specializing in the reuse of found materials (reclaimed wood, metal, vintage papers and many other found items) to create uniquely textured, original art pieces. I am inspired by Mid Century art and design and abstract expressionism. My portfolio includes large scale wall art pieces, wall sculptures, found objects mobiles, as well as a plethora of mixed media works.
My goal is to provide both a superior customer experience and tremendous value for my customers. I have been in the Creative Arts Industry since 1996 along the way I have learned a lot and have developed many different styles and techniques. Sharing and teaching my art to aspiring artists is a passion and lifelong dream.”
Rick is fairly new to Tip’n the Mitten, but he and his wife are already a great part of the Tip’n the Mitten family. Rick and his family currently live in Davison, Michigan.
If you would like to learn more about him and his amazing art, check him out online on facebook here or on his website here. Stop in at Tip’n the Mitten to see more of his great designs on our walls and on our featured vendor table for the next week!
