I can’t believe it is already Friday! Summer is officially (well not really “officially”) upon us here at Tip’n the Mitten and we are ready to go! The sun is shining, the summer visitors and residents are back and everyone seems to be looking for that perfect Michigan product. This week, we would like to introduce you to perhaps our most noticed Michigan vendor, Two Hearted Cabincraft. Makers of our Michigan-style chairs and tables, we have grown to know and enjoy a wonderful relationship with these folks! And now, without further ado, Two Hearted Cabincraft.
It seems like yesterday that my Aunt in Comstock Park called us and told us about the great Michigan chairs down the street from her. She went back to the place she found them and started asking questions and a wonderful working relationship was born between Two Hearted Cabincraft and Tip’n the Mitten. Dan and Christine always answer our every question, text us when we needed to know more and even run us up extra chairs and tables when we run out at a moments notice!
Their furniture is high quality and ready to go. Made of white cedar, you can be sure that you are getting something much more than a mass-produced piece of “furniture”. Dan puts each piece together and varnishes each one to ensure they are protected from the elements. What makes it even better, if you are looking for something a little different, Dan can likely help you out. He has brought up swings, custom paint jobs and more.
From their website:
We are a small Michigan business that began in 2009 and has been steadily producing quality, personalized furniture ever since. With roots in the far north of the UP, the tradition of wood crafting began several generations back and continues today. With years of hands-on experience, we’ve done the math. Each piece is custom crafted by hand based on industry standards, but tempered by your designs and home environment.
Our furniture is from our hearts to yours…furniture that matters.
We are happy to have Two Hearted Cabincraft as a part of our store and will continue to do so for years to come!
If you would like to know more or have a custom request, feel free to call us or contact them directly and tell them Tip’n the Mitten sent you! 🙂 You can find them online here or on facebook here.
